Mira Koroma of Family Support Unit (Spotlight)

I am Superintendent Mira Yainkain Koroma.  Born in Masoila, Lungi, Port Loko District. Received my Bachelor of Arts at Fourah Bay College (2001-2005) and Masters in Peace and Development Studies (MPADS) at the Njala University (2007-2009). I enlisted in the Sierra Leone Police in May 2006. I served in different formations including Police Stations, Legal and Justice Department as a Prosecutor and at the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU). I was appointed as the Deputy National Head of the I was there from 2007 – 2011. I was then enlisted as a United Nations Police Officer in Haiti serving as a Police Monitor & Mentor (2011 – 2013).
